ALAN ROSENBERG (Ottaker) last appeared at Memorial Players as Septimus
Hodge in Arcadia, and has also been seen recently as Oliver in As You
Like It with Baltimore Shakespeare Factory. Alan teaches theatre and
directs the drama club at Baltimore City College. He is a graduate of
Cornell University and resides in Mt. Washington with a small army of
dogs that could probably sack Rome. Thanks to Rina for seeing his
potential to be a Gothic Butcher, a hard-working and talented cast and
crew for welcoming him late to the party, his awesome students for
inspiring him, and above all to his wife and karaoke duet partner,
Pilar, for her love and support.

Welcome Hal!
So glad to have you on board with us.
Bolton Hill’s HAL POLLARD (Goth) is pleased to be making his first appearance in a Memorial Players production. When not slavishly following the tenants of Gothic-ism, sacking villages, and generally being dour, Hal enjoys listening to Bauhaus and contemplating the blackness of black. Hal would like to thank Ned and Rina for encouraging him to join Ottaker the Butcher’s band of brooding barbarians and the rest of the great Memorial community.

Meet Ryan Tisch (Tullius)
Bolton Hill's RYAN TISCH (Tullius) is thrilled to make his second
appearance in a Memorial Players production (after playing Valentine in
Arcadia in 2014). His theater background is in improv comedy, and he
remains continually surprised by how much harder it is when you have to
say the lines the same way in every show. When he isn't acting or at
work, Ryan makes his own buttermilk and enjoys decorative macramé. Ryan
wants to thank his two favorite guys, husband Curtis and son Luke, for
letting him make time for Romulus.

Skimbleshanks in Cats, Vera Charles in Mame, Mrs. Pugh in Annie, Mrs.

Meet Kristine Smets (Producer, Chef)
KRISTINE SMETS (Producer, Chef) always wanted to be an actress but for
most of her life was too afraid to say so. She is extremely grateful to
Memorial Players for giving her the confidence and opportunity to give
it a try. Her first timid lines on stage were in the 2012 production of
Twelve Angry Jurors. A year later she had great fun portraying
Professor Willard in Our Town, and last year got a kick out of playing
Mother Teresa in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. She also appeared in
the musicals Oliver!, Meet Me in St. Louis, and The King and I. In 2014
she agreed to co-produce Memorial Players’ fall drama Arcadia. This
was such a rewarding experience she could not resist the temptation to
do it again … and again. Thank you Mike & Clare for letting me
play!
Meet Kim Scaglione (Apollonia)
Kim Scaglione (Apollonia) calls Bolton Hill home, and is thrilled to be a
part of this great community theater again. Thanks to Memorial Players
she's portrayed maids, wives, jurors, dead people and even a nun! She'd
like to thank Carl, Spencer, and all her wonderful friends and neighbors
for their patience, love and support. Mostly patience. LOTS of
patience.

Willy Wonka in Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka. Welcome, John!
Meet The AMAZING John Seeley
The AMAZING John Seeley has been involved in all of the Memorial Players
productions and has designed sets for 17 of its shows. He also
designed the set for Chesapeake Chamber Opera’s Hansel and Gretel. John
has an MFA in sculpture from MICA. He studied art in France and
religious (Byzantine) iconography in Palestine. We are so very lucky to
have his talent on our team!

to the community. As a youth, he considered a career in the theater and
performed in Cleveland with the Southeast Summer & Bedford Community
Theaters and St. Francis Players. During college he was in
shows at Cuyahoga Community College, Kent State University, Canal Park,
and the Cleveland Playhouse. His stage experience includes Jesus Christ
Superstar, Godspell, Hello Dolly, The Sound of Music, Stephen
Sondheim's Pacific Overtures, The Roar of the Greasepaint/The Smell of
the Crowd, Oklahoma, Bye Bye Birdie, Mame, Dames at Sea, Funny Girl,
Grease, J. B., Gypsy and The Nutcracker. Having once hoped to be a

Don't miss Ryan Frank as Titus! Ryan is making his first appearance with
Memorial Players. This is his second play after a decade-long break
from acting due to law school and rural employment. When not onstage, he
is an attorney for the US Department of Veterans Affairs. In their
spare time, he and his wife foster cats and greyhounds and travel as
often as they can back to Minneapolis to see friends and attend science
fiction conventions.
